Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Saheb
The Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Saheb is one of the few Sikh pilgrimage centres in the south of India located at Bidar in the state of Karnataka. Sikhs from all over the country gather in large numbers, especially during Guru Nanak Jayanti. During the occasion, people clean the gurudwara, guard the shoes of the visitors, and also help in preparing food at the kitchen. Food is given free of cost to the visitors of the gurudwara. A museum dedicated the Sikh Guru is present at the gurudwara and it reminds us of different stories from the Sikhs’ past.
